Incorporating a style which transcends and goes well beyond the usual one-dimensional contemporary/urban Jazz scene, Don Diego..'s music spins into your ear with a self-defined, sultry sound that makes you beg for more! Born in Dallas, Texas, Don Diego made it clear very early on that his intention was to pursue the entertainment industry. He continued his quest while in attendance at the prestigious Arts Magnet High School. During those years, he began to express his musical genius and was the recipient of numerous awards. Soon after his 15th birthday, Don was a visible and noted musician on the local Jazz scene. Recently, Don was also nominated for .."Musician of the Year.." honors in his home state of Texas. Don Diego has for years built a reputation as a professional, hard-working entertainer throughout the United States and the World! His project .."RAZZ.." spent 26 weeks on Billboard..'s contemporary charts on the strength of smash hits like .."It Never Rains In Southern California.." and .."Lonely Talking..". His latest project entitled .."THIS MUST BE HEAVEN.." topped the charts again! Don Diego often shares the stage with many other notable and respected musicians such as, Kenny G, Najee, Kirk Whalum, B.B. King, Roy Ayers and Donald Byrd; a host of other respected entertainers round off the list. Don credits both Roy Ayers and Donald Byrd as his mentors and retains a great deal of respect for each of them. Over the years, Don Diego has created a diverse audio canvas on which he paints his masterful and culturally delightful musical offerings. His silky smooth melodies and energetic stage presence light up every venue he plays, and he always brings the crowd to their feet! Don Diego has touched the United States and abroad including Europe and the Far East with his innovative and diverse style. Don..'s unique blend of saxophone- induced Jazz and contemporary music has appealed to many other genres (as evident by his appearances with Vanilla Ice, Mikki Bleu, Benita Arterberry and many other noted R & B artists
